What Made You Decide to Commit to this College/University?

When visiting different schools, I asked myself the question, “would I go here if lacrosse was not a factor?” Vanderbilt was the first school where I could visualize myself attending without having to settle on different aspects that were important to me. Vanderbilt is the perfect combination of high academics, a competitive lacrosse program, and enjoyable student life that adds to the college experience. In addition to the school, the team culture is incredible. Coach Hewitt and Coach Bray are leading an excellent program that I cannot wait to join.

How would you describe the recruiting process?

The recruitment process was very hectic, but rewarding at the same time. During the process of visiting schools and speaking with coaches, it was gratifying to know my hard work and dedication had paid off.

High School season Outlook?

This season, Greenhill is moving to Division I after winning state in Division II the past two years. We lost some very talented seniors from last year. However, I am excited to see what the 2019 squad can do with their talent and athleticism in the transition this season. I am looking forward to playing in a competitive atmosphere and show the state what Greenhill lacrosse is about!

What do you want to major in?

Public Policy or Business.

What are your hobbies?

Field hockey, basketball, photography, listening to music, and spending time with my friends.

What’s it like being a high school lacrosse player ?

It is super fun to compete at the high school level, especially in Texas. The sport is still gaining popularity, but it is cool to see the amount of talented players in the state.

Anybody you would like to Thank?

First, I want to thank my parents. Without their continuous support, I would not have the opportunity to play collegiate lacrosse. I have been blessed with many knowledgeable coaches who have built me to where I am today and I am grateful to all. A very special thank you to Lellie Swords, my 214 Lacrosse club coach, for all the time and energy spent guiding me through the recruitment process and preparing me for the collegiate level. Finally, I want to thank my club teammates who I can rely on for anything. I am so excited to see y’all do amazing things!
